C3 COVID-19 Response

In-Person Gathering Update

On Sunday, October 4 we be holding services IN-PERSON!

The East venue will hold services at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
The Traditions service will be held in the  North venue at 9 a.m.
Watch the video below for more information.

Will you still livestream your services?

YES! We will still be broadcasting our Sunday services LIVE at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The only difference is services will now have an in-person audience.

What precautions are you taking?

The health and safety of our C3 family is extremely important! Here is what you can expect:

  • All spaces will be sanitized before and after each service.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are placed throughout the building.
  • Each venue has spaced chair rows 6 feet apart. A space of 3 empty chairs will be required between each family unit during services.
  • Masks are recommended for attendees. C3 has extra masks available as well.
  • Notes/bulletin announcements will be available on the APP only.
Why did it take you so long to reopen?

C3 has been very purposeful with the decision to reopen. Because we have been blessed with being a large church, reopening looked different for us than it has for smaller churches. We wanted to do it safely and follow the guidelines presented to us by elected officials (Romans 13). We spoke with our local health department multiple times and came up with the best way for us to gather in person again.

What about the nursery and kids programs?

For the month of October, there will be no in-person nursery or kids programs. We will be evaluating as we go, and hope to start up kids programs during the month of November. Stay tuned for updates!

We have AWESOME kids programing available online!

Are Students meeting on Wednesdays?

YES! Our students have already started meeting in person Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. Masks and social distancing have worked out great during these services. Students are also broadcasting each Wednesday service LIVE! It’s the same great experience whether you choose to join in-person or from your home. Learn more by visiting the Students page.

Anything else I should know?

Remember, WE are the church. The church is not a building, and the church never closed! We never closed our doors, but opened them wider to the whole world when our services went virtual.

We have missed each and every one of you! We CANNOT wait to gather again. Let’s continue to be graceful with each other and come together as brothers and sisters in Jesus.

C3’s response during COVID-19

Our Benton Franklin Health Department has mandated that people wear masks in public spaces where social distancing isn’t possible.

Romans 13 says, “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established.” That was Paul writing about the Roman government, which was very corrupt at the time!

Unless our leaders ask us to sin, we are to be obedient to the laws of land even if we disagree.  If we have to understand and agree before we follow, then we’re not being humble and doing what Jesus modeled for us.

Whether you decide to wear a mask or not, our hope is that you understand this is not a sin issue.

You can be Christian AND have differing ideas. But as Christians, we stand together because there’s something we agree on far more than the things that we disagree on – we agree that Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We live for Him, we are a spiritual family. Choose to be unique by refraining from fighting over non-salvation issues.

And remember, nothing is outside of God’s understanding. He’s got a plan and He knows what He’s doing. He knows why He’s allowing certain things and He’s going to bring it all to the end in the right way.

Let’s be graceful, let’s come together as brothers and sisters in Jesus.
