Legacy Team

For members who are called to generosity and blessed with resources to help reach the Columbia Basin and beyond for Christ through the spiritual gift of giving.
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
ROMANS 12:6-8

EXPANDING THE KINGDOM THROUGH ETERNAL INVESTMENTS

The Legacy Team is a giving (serving) team committed to moving our impact above and beyond C3’s annual budgeted giving. While our regular tithes and offerings ensure the steady growth of C3, our offerings/generosity through the Legacy Team allows us to accelerate our vision to reach more people for Christ.

Legacy lanes of impact

C3’s Legacy fund makes it happen faster! These lanes each represent an area where we are focusing as a church to make an impact this year.

Dinner Church outreach is a way to reach people for Jesus that would never come to a regular church on a Sunday morning. Looking in scripture, the early church in the 1st century, often gathered around food and the scriptures.

Dinner Churches often attract people that would never go to a church. These people are often more alone, and not connected to many people. But they come to a Dinner Church because they long for having a sense of family.  At a Dinner Church, we would rent a room in a location one night a week.  Dinner would be provided, there would be music and a 10-15 minute message. Then a conversation would happen about the message.

Currently in the United States, 35% of churches are Proclamation Churches, meaning churches like C3 where people sit in rows and listen to a message on Sunday mornings.  Contextual Churches make up 32% of churches and “do church” in different ways, such as home churches. 33% are Dinner Churches. After C3 gets our first Dinner Church up and running, our plan would be to offer other Dinner Churches in the Tri-City area.

Lobby Development

C3’s lobby has gone through many changes, and there are still more to come! This lane is divided into three parts:

C3 Cares: space development for C3 Counseling and Resources. The need for additional space for this department has become desperate, made even more poignant during the pandemic. Our counselers and resources coaches are squeezed for space. We can meet the need for this by developing the upstairs mezzanine of the lobby to accomodate 4-5 new meetings rooms, additional stairs, an elevator and restrooms.

Food Court: a public space on the upper mezzanine for a kitchen, food service and gathering area. This would benefit not only C3 but we can reach the local community and continue to lead more people into new and better relationships with Jesus.

Debt Retirement: C3 expanded its lobby in 2019, creating more space for people to connect. Every month, we have been paying down the loan with cash and adding extra funds toward the principle. Giving generously to the lobby fund with accelerate the load pay off, allowing C3 to reach our other lanes of impact more quickly.
