No Common Sense

This week, in part two of Above and Beyond, Pastor Adrian unpacks the tension between our sense of logic and God's higher ways. In a message titled “No Common Sense”, we walk through five powerful ways to open our lives to the work of the Holy Spirit—even when it doesn’t make sense. Isaiah 55 reminds us that God’s thoughts are far beyond ours, and 2 Kings 5 brings that truth to life through Naaman’s story.

How do I respond when God's methods, timing or standards don't make sense to me? How is Christianity any different from other religions? How can I be confident that God's going to deliver on what He's promised? These are the kind of questions we're wrestling with in the "Above and Beyond" series, exploring what God has to say in Isaiah 55 -- that His ways are not our ways, and that His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
