misconceptions about baptism
Myth #1: Only kids and super Christians get baptized.
Fact: Baptism is for ANYONE who has accepted Christ and wants to “go public” with their faith. Adults and kids (beginning at around age 9) are encouraged to check it out.
Myth #2: You have to give your testimony in front of everyone.
Fact: We want you to have the opportunity to tell your story, but it is best done one-on-one with another person or in a small group.
Myth #3: I was baptized as a baby/child, so I should not do it again.
Fact: Water baptism is about your personal decision to follow Jesus Christ not someone making the decision for you.
