WHY NEXT STEPS?
Next Steps is a culture at C3. Next Steps reflect the way a follower of Jesus grows spiritually and becomes mature over time.
• Next Steps is a path to help us see what is next in our spiritual growth journey.
• Next Steps is a reminder of why we might not be growing and how to move forward.
• Next Steps help pastors and other leaders to help us grow.
• Next Steps are clear and intentional. They Restart expectations.
DISCOVER YOUR JOURNEY
Next classes give you an understanding of what it means to Partner at C3. We share how we lead people into new and growing relationships with Jesus. This is how you discover your next step with C3.
ACCEPT YOUR FAITH
Salvation is God’s work of saving yourself from you, believing and behaving in ways that show Jesus is in charge of your life. Salvation is a one-time grace (regeneration) and a daily active choice (sanctification). Engaging this decision daily changes your eternity.
EXPRESS YOUR FAITH
We gather in large groups following the early church model of singing and receiving a message from God’s word. The large gathering serves those who have not started their relationship with Jesus and prepares followers to engage the world the rest of the week.
EQUIP YOUR FAITH
Small groups allow for a growing connection with other followers of Jesus, to strengthen and apply your relationship with Jesus, and to transparently meet one another’s needs.
GROW YOUR FAITH
Build your faith with the actions you take personally to fuel and grow your relationship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit. Just as you could not go weeks and months avoiding a spouse or friend and believe you will grow in your relationship with them, so it is in your personal walk with Jesus.
LIVE YOUR FAITH
We believe serving others is one of the most effective ways to live out your faith. In a world focused on personal gain, there is no greater way to show others what a life devoted to Jesus is about.
TRUST YOUR FAITH
Everything we own or receive is a gift from God. When we trust God with our resources, he will use them to bring people into new and growing relationships with Jesus.
