ESTATE DESIGN

Our Estate Design workshops are for anyone who is interested in finding out more about estate and legacy planning. We’ll give you a general overview of strategies and gift vehicles available to you. FULL WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION HERE.

TAX SMART GIVING

Tax Smart Giving is primarily for those who are age 55+ who are planning for retirement. We’ll do a deeper dive into ways you can give through your assets and plan to leave a legacy. FULL WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION HERE.

WILLS AND TRUSTS

The Wills & Trusts event is for those age 55+ who are looking to find out more and make the best decisions regarding leaving a legacy through wills and trusts. FULL WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION HERE.

Our presenter, Tim Dietrich, is also available for individual one-on-one consultations during the weekend of May 13-15.

Small group communion

Tim Deatrick, Director of Professional Services

For over 35 years, Tim Deatrick has served as Senior Pastor in churches located in St. Louis, MO, Ft. Worth, TX, Bentonville, AR, and Des Moines, IA. He now brings his experience in generosity ministry, planned giving, and non-cash gifts to MortarStone, where he serves as Generosity Ministry Partner. In his last position, he led the development of an endowment fund which grew invested planned gifts from $300,000 to an excess of $1.6 million. The congregation’s per capita giving was $38 per person and disbursed 22% of all revenue to outside missions and ministries.

Tim is a graduate of Hannibal LaGrange College (Th.B) and Southwestern Seminary (MDivBL; D.Min). He and his wife Lisa reside in Waukee, Iowa, and are the proud parents of three adult children and a spoiled German Shepherd.
